Off to bed...................

Currently listening to....."After Glow"-Foals

So, I want to make a quick-E post before I get some Zzzz.
I think it can be a pretty colorful world out there if we let ourselves open up to it :D Sometimes things are NOT fair and they rarely ever work out as planned! I will be 25 years young this Nov. I feel like I am two ages sometimes like by society standards I should have a steady job, have a somewhat decent paycheck, have a place of my own, have a partner to potentially marry and possibly kids and all that sounds good right? Well look at the key word used to describe all of the previous things I mentioned "HAVE"!! something seems a little wrong with that Hmm??? but seriously there is another part of me that feels 25 years young and i'm just now discovering who I am and am constantly discovering new and exciting things!!! I can't help it if there will always be apart of me that never wants to grow up or stop dreaming but really a lot of people are like that and in many different kinds of ways. Also, when you compare our lives to the history of the living earth we are all young even at death so I feel as though society for the most part plays a good role in life but sometimes it confines and limits the definitions of things and beliefs over right and wrong.
I will always be a dreamer, adventurer, logical, shy, planner, risk taker, geek, music lover, observer,  progressive, independent, Opinionated and....caring :)   Goodnight world!-Matt

Thoughts part 1.....

Warning! THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION-SHOULD YOU DECIDE TO READ THIS MATERIAL THEN YOU ARE SUBJECT TO FURTHER PERMANENT DAMAGE SUCH AS....LEARNING, DRY EYES, DISCOMFORT, ETC... "AHH! There are no jobs for us anymore these days!!(something I have been hearing a lot of lately) We now have to CREATE the job we want and universities have to do the same for all the new students. I feel this will continue to be a problem and things are changing(have changed) to those people in their 20's maybe even 30's or even pre-20's the way the world works has changed! The article I posted outlines it pretty well I already typed some of this once before but due to poor hand positioning via me it was deleted haha(what ya gonna do?) Old ways of doing things don't work anymore WE have to think in a new way and really make a living doing something we actually like and wanna do..So take it back to what you wanted to do and create the career you wanted in the first place!!!"-Matt Wood.....

I have heard different variations of this in many places lately; just look around things are changing we all are changing and old ways do not work anymore lol i know every person is looking out for themselves right now but we are all in this sh#t together! We have to be more innovative/creative then any before us..Good Luck 2 all of you!!.....feel free to leave a comment :D

"The older generations can't understand the plight of younger generations. where we see lack of opportunity, they see laziness. they don't realize how much things have changed. in 1950, the US population was 150 million (and only 75 million of those worked cause most women didn't). today, nearly 400 million pop count. That's a huge change in competition and job availability. Not to mention many jobs that used to be done by people are now done by machines. And many jobs shipped over seas. College degree's used to be far cheaper, and not as necessary to gain decent employment. Today you can't even get into entry level positions, they always want some years of experience. when you see those types of jobs, more often than not, it's a rouse by the company to bring in visa workers at less pay. they put 5 years experience needed on a job a person with no experience could do then say to uncle sam 'hey we have no americans qualified for this job, we need to look overseas'.  This generation is going to be one of the few generations in the last 100 years with the right to say 'we had it hard'. The elderly aren't only sucking this country dry like a dieing man in a desert taking a childs cantene to prolong his life just a little more. They're also still stealing jobs from the young. They have to retire before those numerous jobs become available. when someone see's 20 years experience vs 3 years on a resume, who do you think they will choose? plus the elderly are more inclined to take low pay in order to keep their jobs from falling in the hands of the younger generations.  so on one side, we have legal and illegal immigrants taking american jobs, we have foreigners taking american jobs over seas. we have the elderly filling up positions. we have machines doing work people used to do. looking at all of this, it's no wonder there is no room for the younger generations to get a start in the real world, because the real world has butted them out. And this only scratches the surface. the american dream is dead. The older generations and foreigners are screaming 'me first, damn the rest of you', while the younger american generations are screaming 'we never had a chance'." -unit01
